Production of plastic disposable products will be limited in the Czech Republic

Members of the upper house of the Czech Parliament at its meeting supported the idea of banning the production and sale of disposable plastic goods, media reported. In the near future, the Czech Republic will stop the production of disposable plastic utensils, limit the use of plastic packaging for products, on disposable plastic bottles plan to keep a Deposit.

Under the ban will soon be tubes, straws for drinks and plastic mounts for balloons.

The European Commission plans to ban several types of plastic products and to fine the EU countries for plastic garbage that is not recyclable.

All plastic packaging on the EU market until 2030 should be recyclable, the consumption of disposable plastics will be reduced, and the use of microplastics — limited.
